It features our outer plaiting construction, which surrounds the softer body yarns with more durable stretch yarns for better insulation and improved longevity. Top-to-toe full-density padding cushions the instep and calf when wearing heavy boots, and 100% US-grown merino wool provides exceptional insulation, even when wet with snow or perspiration.

We can’t claim that socks will last a lifetime, no sock will! However, if you are not completely satisfied with the durability or performance of your Farm to Feet® socks, then please follow the steps below and we will send you a replacement.

Last winter, I purchased my first double pair from Shaw's General Store in Stowe, VT USA as part of the family’s obligatory visit to the main street shops. They were the only pair on the rack in my size. I am always looking for a good wool sock and I had just finished listening to the Audible version of Vanishing Fleece by Clara Parkes [highly recommended on so many levels]. I was jazzed about finding a "farm to feet" option that was AMERICAN WOOL!
Serendipity led to my first pair, quality, fit and finish [not to mention a full USA life cycle] kept me coming back. I abuse these socks! I walk a lot. I wash them in hot water with really dirty clothes. I dry them in a tumble dryer [yeah I know hot water, drier, oh the carbon, oh the humanities - I’ll spend my surplus how I wish, get over it].
But I digress, great socks! American made! And a reasonable price, given the quality. Give them a try!
