Bought these socks as a gift for my husband. He says they are warm and comfy. He wears his socks out at the heel and needed some replacements, so I thought I would try this brand. They are well rated. Hope they will hold up well.

They fit perfectly and are locally made. What more could you ask for?

Go-to socks for guiding and personal alpine adventures in AK! Keeps the bugs off for sure. Great fit and cushioning for off-trail summer mountain travel.

Bought a black and brown pair each for my husband since we are going to tour Jordan and Egypt in September. He’s already tried them on and loves the feel. Wish there were women’’s sizes also.

I live on the Virginia Blue Ridge - tick central. Tried most every brand of "tick socks" and these are by far the best. Most comfortable fit, coolest temp wise (I'm partial to Merino wool over cotton and a lot of the synthetics in this regard), and effective against the scourge. I consider wearing these the human equivalent of giving my dogs their once a month tick preventative - a necessity if you spend time outdoors. I wash them after two wearings . The merino wool doesn't get that funky and the good stuff in them will last twice as long. Wish they were cheaper though : twenty some dollars a pair is a bit much (but still less than one of the other brands that is not as cool or comfortable).

Second pair. Like ‘em.

The sock were delivered at 8pm the night before the ruck and from initial impression, I was never skeptical. After 8 miles in 80 degree weather wearing some well worn in Salomon boots, my feet were as dry as could be expected and very happy. The construction is different and we will see how these socks last after near continual use.
The only fault is the ubiquity of was light cushioning means. These socks are not as light as expected but will be used up till the 95+ degree days in the desert.
Excellent socks and I will be venturing through the other models very soon.

Excellent quality, good fit and warm. Not quite as plush as old model.

Gave these as nice practical gifts to family who hike or spend their workdays on their feet or outdoors here in New England. I know from experience how well they hold up after years of washing and wearing. Very happy to support an ethical company.

I've been through several different brands of insect repellent socks, looking for somehting that fits well, is durable, and is effective in deterring ticks. Most of what i tried were poorly constructed and started coming apart after just few washes, or the material was just uncomfortable to wear when working in the woods. I tried the Farm to Feet Boulder "No Fly Zone" socks and have been VERY impressed. They are comfortable, last a long time (my oldest pair is now 3 or 4 years old), and are effective at deterring ticks. I liked them so much, I bought three more pairs for myself, and some pairs for the whole family.
Fit is good, may run a little on the snug side. I wear a size 8.5 or 9 men's shoe in a medium width. I tried a pair of medium socks first, which the sizing chart says fits up to an 8.5 men's. They were a bit snug on me, so they were passed on to my son. The large size is a great fit for me

Deer and other animals wander freely across my property and as a result, I have had tick problems over the 3+ decades we have lived here. This is the 3rd year I have purchased and tucked my pant legs into these socks and have not had any problems with ticks.

These are my new favorite sock, especially in the spring. They fit great, and feel very comfortable. And, they protect you from all the little spring bugs in the grass if you do any walking outdoors. Lastly, they are 100% american made :).

The soles are quite comfortable and cushioned. The fit is a little sketchy though: "Large" =up to size 12 usually fits me but with this brand "large" is too tight. I tried "XL" and they fit better (looser) but the ankle/calf section is still quite tight. I doNOT have 'fat/thick' ankles, by the way.

Bought these socks for my son who works outdoors. He loved them and he is VERY picky about socks!

Keeps my cold feet warm like nothing else I have found.

We're out of bug season for quite awhile, so I can't attest to the anti-bug part, but they feel wonderful. Like a hiker should. this is 2 of 3 pair I bought to test over time, as I really want this company to succeed. They feel great and look like they'll last. Stay tuned.

We recently moved to a new place in the country. Chiggers, ticks, etc. are bad! I love wool and try to only get my socks from FTF. I got the the whole family a pair of the No Fly Zone socks to combat our mini-critters and they work perfectly. I was running through bug juice like a crackhead through rocks! Thanks FTF!

We love all your socks! My sons and I hunt in them, hike in them, wear them for every day, etc. My son is in South Africa for 2 years on a church mission and Farm to Feet are the only socks I sent with him, knowing they would last the whole time and be comfortable. I was thrilled to see the ones treated with permethrin because a tick bite there can cause illness so I immediately bought 2 more pair and sent them to him.

Comfortable sock. Have yet to find out how effective the "no fly zone" is as it has just turned hot here. Great quality!

These socks are very comfortable-nicely cushioned under the feet and absorbent in the hottest weather. They also wash well and seem to be very durable. We have recommended them to others and purchased several pairs for our son who also gardens in deer country.

I preferred the NFZ in the Madison they were better sox to wear with my hunting boots,

Love everything about these socks especially the color

My husband has long narrow feet with a long, thin instep and virtually no padding left underfoot. Socks generally bunch up and he complains about them, but these XL Boulders conform perfectly to his feet and keep him a happy hiker. The No Fly Zone version is very welcome, because we're hiking or doing trail or yard work most days, in an environment full of ticks and chiggers. We both have several pairs of Boulders already; they hold up well and keep their shape after repeated launderings.

I buy these socks for my husband and they are his favorite! He is an avid birdwatcher and spends a lot of time hiking through woods and brush looking for different species. These socks are comfortable and minimize the insect bites along the way. He asks for a new pair for birthday and Christmas and is up to six! He is a huge fan!

Two words, BUY THESE! You wont regret it.
