Im a power lineman and work crazy hours in the northeast and have to say these are the best socks i have owned in a long time!! They actually keep my feet warm for over 24hrs and keep me from having to swap out or dry them between jobs. I have been running them for a few years now and they have held up well! I use these firefighting and in construction. Absolute best socks out there. The first time I put them on and laced up my boots it felt like walking on clouds. Two years later, it’s almost as good as day one, and still extremely comfortable!

These merino wool socks are amazing! I own 2 pair & love wearing them in the cold weather, or even at home as thick comfy slippers. These cedar falls socks rise very high on my leg, like just below the knee, at least an inch or 2 longer than other OTC socks I’ve bought. F2F is the best sock manufacturer I’ve ever bought from & I recommend them to everyone (they’re better than Darn Tough). I wish they’d make a simple classic looking mid-weight merino wool crew shirt in a few simple colors just like costco’s KS white shirts.

We have copperheads and rattlers in our mountainside, forested neighborhood. I bought snake boots and these socks to wear when I cut tall grass in our yard. My new snake boots (WX2-166521 Mossy Oak Break-up Mens 16" Pro Light Snake Boots) come nearly to my knee and pinch/chafe a little at the ankle and calf when I wear normal socks or stuff my pants in at the top. These socks reach an inch above the boots. The looped yarn on the inside of the socks is so cushioning that its like walking around the house in slippers while cutting the grass. After an hour of grass cutting, my feet/legs don't sweat much, there is no irritation or pinching and the socks don't smell. You don't have to wash the socks much because the wool kills bacteria. The most amazing socks I have ever owned.

Just got my third pair, I love these socks. They fit nicely in my rubber boots and are so comfortable that I wear them around the house like slippers. I do think they run big, initially I ordered a medium (I wear a women's 7.5/8) and they were big and I gave them to my husband who wears a men's 11, and started ordering smalls.
